Ms. Angie Mendez recently completed her student internship with the NCA and has successfully gained her Associates Degree in Social Work.

For her placement, Angie completed a life histories project and interviewed eight older people in the community of Benque Viejo del Carmen about their recollections from years gone by.

All the information has been compiled into a booklet with the interviewees’ pictures and they will receive a bound copy at a special presentation ceremony.

A copy of this booklet entitled “The Golden Era in Benque Viejo with Unforgettable People” and produced in English and Spanish will be available for viewing on the website very soon.
